The R.O.I.D. Cobra is exacty the same as the Cobra other than the fact it is constructed from Crye Precision MultiCam fabric instead of our traditional 330 denier Cordura Fabric.
We want you to know that not all Multcam fabrics qualities are created equal. Some BDU manufacturers use blends of yarn that we believe to be substandard to the quality of fabric made available to us directly from Crye Precision. Crye fabric is the highest quality Nylon/Cotton standard available. It is equal or greater than government spec NYCO in every aspect. We use the HT version which is the heavier duty version of thier fabric offering. Put simply, we use the best yarn blend available and results in the highest quality garment we can make available to you.
From assaulters to snipers the ability to down-play the enemies visual on you is extremely important. The Cobra Hood is new high-speed garment designed not for just snipers but for any operator who can benefit from an advanced touch of visual based camouflage/concealment. Specific to this type of operator is that this garment is designed to be worn in conjunction and work in unison with combat loadout equipment including LBV’s, Assault Vests and slim line backpack systems. The operator can now achieve the camouflage/concealment effectiveness a sniper has in a ghillie suit but scaled into a package that is practically suited toward the working needs and style of an assaulter.
Constructed from lightweight and rugged Supplex fabric with mesh ventilation lining the side of the hood for audio and visual responses plus heat dissipation.
